Stage:
The design was requested before any work on the house has even stared, which allowed for the interior design to be well planned and incorporated into the final product.
To design:
The request was to design the whole house, consisting of two reception rooms, porch & hallway, kitchen/diner & utility room, three bedrooms & study, two guest bedrooms, three bathrooms and loo.
Brief 's details:
The spatial design was well built into the skeleton of the works in general, from working of the architectural plans to create the new rooms, to planning the gardens views, change of existing windows and doors - all of which contributed significantly to the final design outcome, consisting of not just choosing the colour scheme.
Involvement in the mechanical and electrical side from early stage, allowed the final light effect to work well with the whole of the interior setting.
Bespoke furniture was designed by Aleksandra Sinan, in addition ready made furniture matched the setting, which allowed a single design line to be followed across the whole project, in fact that is when a client gets the most of the works being done (when all goes through one persons’s vision).
All aspects of the design have been presented to and accepted by the client, always having in mind their preference and working from then toward the final aesthetically pleasing design solution.
Creating more storage elegantly incorporated into the interior was one of the main targets, at the same time chasing modern, elegant, and still homely design solution.
The client has been challenged to consider choices and options they would have probably never made, by taking small, measured risks and trusting the design process throughout has well paid off.
